microsoft has encountered a problem needs to close-send error report

This is a discussion on microsoft has encountered a problem needs to close-send error report within the Windows XP Support forums, part of the Tech Support Forum category. This happens when i`m in IE7 very annoying. I run Windows XP Home Edition sp2. Any clues?

This happens when i`m in IE7 very annoying. I run Windows XP Home Edition sp2. Any clues?

It could be caused by any number of reasons. Does this happen the moment you open IE7 or when you open a webpage etc.?

Thank You tosh9i. It can happen anytime not usually when opening IE7. IE7 runs pretty good most of the time. Microsoft tells you to send an error report but dont ever offer a solution.

Without knowing how it's caused, all I can recommend is that you reinstall IE7:

Also, install the latest version of Flash Player and Java. I've seen them cause IE7 to crash plenty of times:
