Hello, when trying to start windows I'm getting stuck at a black screen and this error "load needed DLLs for kernel."

This only started yesterday after I installed windows 10 on a second hard drive in my computer.
I can still access all of the files on my XP hard drive and I've tried running chkdsk on the drive from within windows 10 as well as using my XP CD but it hasn't worked so far.

Are you trying to boot to Windows 10? or XP?
If you are trying to boot from 10 then some files are missing, Reinstall Windows from the Windows 10 install media.

What happens when you run chkdsk /R?
What happens when you boot from the XP CD?
If you can boot one OS but not the other, use EasyBCD to add the other OS to the boot loader.

I was trying to boot XP, EasyBCD seems to have solved the problem though, thanks!

To answer your question chkdsk /R completed normally and I ran the repair tool when booting from the XD CD. I was stilling getting the error afterwards though.
