What kind of keyboard is it? The keyboard should load before windows starts, if it doesn't then get a standard PS2 keyboard and use it.

I only hooked up the wired cause the computer started complaining that there was no keybord
it's stoped complaining but still wont respond to it

all is not lost with this computer I was rebooting thismorning and desided to hit a few times at that screen just cause I hate to let it go by without trying and on the first click it said entering that bios editor (or whatever it's called) took a few min but I got in there and with a stable thing to tell what is hapaning (not just trying to hit the timing rite) I got a much better understanding of what is going on if I sit and hold a key down it will take the hit after about 20 seconds or so and from time to time it takes 2-3 hits at the same time (anoying to use) but is useable I have maniged to make my removable (USB) first boot then CD then hard drive my plan is to put a XP stick in (make it in a min) then reboot and see if I can get it to let me do something. im about 95% sure I can fix it now

Do you still have a linux ext2 partition or have you deleted all that? Might need to boot up with your linux live cd to change the linux partition to ntfs so you will be able to see and format it with xp as I don't know if it will show up or not. I know ntfs (windows) doesn't natively read linux partitions.
Did you format ntfs partition and re-intstall completely? Did you do a low level format and re-install new with all your windows drivers? How about testing hardware. Might want to look up how to test your system. Ram, psu, etc. Good info on this forum about doing such.
