Hi,
On win xp, I have a missing character on my japanese lyout keyboard.
HIRAGANA LETTER WOをを&#x3092is missing, and I have a double character, too:

HIRAGANA LETTER MUむむ&#x3080is double.
Where could I modify the characters?
Thank you

Try the onscreen keyboard. If it works, the problem is the keyboard itself. Easy to replace if a desktop. A little harder and more expensive with a laptop. If it doesn't work onscreen, did anyone ever create a keyboard macro that could have caused this?

It doesn't solve the problem, because the same problem occurs by me on different computers with different keyboards.

Are we talking about a company server situation or unrelated computers?

Before modifying, do you have multiple Asian languages installed?

If you mean this: control panel - Area and language settins - languages - install east asian languages -has already happened earlier.

op system's language is hungarian.

There's no other east asian language keyboard installed, only japanese.

keyboard's original language is hungarian.

On the right corner of the taskbar, there's the language toolbar. I added the japananese lyout there.

Japanese writing is working properly, but there's one missing and one doubled character, as I ' ve mentioned above.

Use Windows Update to install Japanese language support. If you've already done that remember Dvorak is not perfect. There are additional drivers available to correct your problem. Unfortunately the download pages are in Japanese so hopefully you'll be able to interpret them. If not, someone who speaks Japanese can respond here.
