Send a message via Yahoo to mouseboyx

If you goto Add/Remove programs and remove the DLink program it will probably revert to the original windows xp wifi manager.

My System

You may need to reinstall your network controller after having uninstalled the wireless manager.

First identify the driver used by your network controller :
Control panel => System => hardware => device manager
Under Network, right click on your wireless network controller => properties => driver => driver details
This gives you the name of the xyz.sys file used by your controller.

Make a search for xyz.* on your system partition including subfloders and system files and folders, and you'll get several hits. You should find xyz.inf, xyz.sys and xyz.cat. Copy those 3 files to some folder, like utils\wireless drivers\ for instance.

Go to add/remove programs and remove your wireless network manager. If this uninstall your wireless controller as well, then reboot and wait for XP to detect the new hardware. Say you want to specify the location and chose the folder you saved the .sys .cat and .inf files.
