Check the "printing preferences". What is the brand/model of your printer?

if your printer supports a banner page or separation page it will usually have the date/time printed on it. This isn't a printer function but a print driver funtion.

As DBCooper asked, what model # HP Laserjet do you have?
Quote:
Overview
Job separation gives the user the ability to separate individual print jobs to an HP Color LaserJet or LaserJet series printer with a banner sheet. The banner sheet may be from the same paper tray as the print job, or another tray that contains colored or different sized stock that would aid in faster identification of individual print jobs.
The job separation feature is accessed and enabled from the printer properties window of the printer driver. The following are the options available options for setting the Job Separation option:
  • None - No separator page will print.
  • Full - Separator page with document name, printed by, date and time listed in large print with Windows graphic.
  • Simple - Separator page with document name, printed by, date and time listed in small print.
  • Custom - Customized page with the information specified by the user.
