I have my desktop Windows XP and laptop Windows 7 on a home network. How do I go about exporting pictures from the desktop to the laptop? What buttons do I push?

I think I may have a clue as to what to do. How do I make My Pictures a shared document?

Alright. I've got My Pictures Share on the network. Now how do I make shared pictures a permanent addition to My Pictures on the laptop windows 7?

This looks like it explains it all. It describes how to share a printer first.
I clicked <blank> for the e-mail, then went back and could read the article (annoying).
