Quite a bizarre one - every time I try to view the properties of any file or folder, I'm met with:

"Explorer.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x02e1415b" referenced at "0x000000000". The momory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program"

Has anyone even encountered this before? Searching the forums produced nothing.

Thank you very much for your time and effort - it's well appreciated.

Hm. It appears that those links are both the same - It doesn't seem to help, as I haven't changed any hardware or installed anything of any significance as of recent..

Also, I don't think it's to do with a failing hard drive, as the error occurs on both of my drives.

My apologies - it seemed to be a program I was trying out and completey forgot about. DiskDefragmentor Premium tries (badly) to integrate into explorers properties window, defragmenting folders when you apply settings to them. This, of course, is very irritating and ultimately doesn't work. The problem is fixed now. Thank you for your time.
