Question

Could someone please recommend a good free program that will allow me to either:

1. Convert a Region 2 DVD to a Region 1 DVD

OR

2. Convert a Region 2 DVD to .avi file

Thank you.

I am not exactly sure what you mean, but I know that dvd shrink and dvd decryptor both has many features to minipulate dvds.

When I tried using DVD Shrink, it said that I had to change the DVD drive region in order to continue with the process of copying the disk. I don't want to do this because after 2 more changes the region setting will be permanent.

Are there any other suggestions?

Where can I download the program? When I tried a Google search, the results I found said that the program was no longer available for download and suggested alternate software.
