Downloading Updates

Downloading updates for what? Where do you see this message? Is this automatic Windows Updates? Choose to Shut Down your computer. You will be given the choice to Shut Down and install Updates. Choose that.

The notification is a yellow "shield" icon on the right end of the tool bar. When I shut down, it makes no reference to "downoad updates before shutting down." It has been on for an hour and is at "1%."
