When I try to analyze my hard drive on disk defragmenter, I get this error:

I tried clearing my cache and using CleanUp! but no cigar. Thanks.

sounds like there is something 'alive' in there...first, try rebooting and repeating your process...if this fails, try booting into safe mode and see if you can manually delete the whole folder 'cache' (assuming there are no subfolders of any kind) and then replace said folder with a 'new' empty one...

I guess if this fails try a few scanners like SpyBot Search & Destroy, and AdawareSE and see if they detect anything...

You mentioned that you cleared your cache but did that include all Firefox's caches files?

Send a message via MSN to byroz
Have you tried running scandisk before you run Disk Defragmentor?
