Hello everyone! Thank you in advance for sparring some of your time for my stupid problem.

I have a laptop that refuses to connected to the internet, the problem is old as it had been 1 year now since last my laptop connected to wifi and had actual internet.

The problem is that I am not very good with these kind of problems.

So, I tried everything online, every forum i had browsed and followed every scenario, but to no avail.

Right now it is connected to the internet, the paquets exchange is very low, it receives 90 paquets and sends 600 in an hour.

Ask me anything and I will try my best to answer.

Thank you so much in advance.

Couldn't find additional information section in the link, might be because i am using my phone?

I'll just write it here.

Intel(r) core (tm)2 Duo CPu

To be honest with you you should not be running Windows XP on the internet as Microsoft support ended more than 5 years ago, there is no protection available to you anymore so you are a complete target and not hard to understand you are probably hopelessly infected and need to upgrade to either Windows 8.1 or 10.

There are also no Browsers that are supported for XP. So, you may be online, but you cannot go to any web pages. You can prove your online by going to Windows Update, you should see you are connected and able to download updates.

Your specs would run Windows 10 32-bit beautifully, but unfortunately you would need to buy a product key for it, unless you have a genuine Windows 7 or 8.1 key. Linux is also a great alternative and you can do with it pretty much everything you do with Windows, while staying up-to-date and secure at no cost.

Thank you so much for your replies.
I think it is best for me to upgrade since like you said xp had been shut down and I am susceptible for viruses and spywares.
I want to thank you again.

I wish you a good day/evening where ever you are.
