I'm attempting to get my 2004 Sager D800P laptop online and am experiencing problems I've had before when using Windows XP, SP3. When typing in the network key I get an error warning that mentions the key needing to be in hexadecimal or ascil characters. The actual key that is posted on the back of my router is similar to the word "hoppingbunny". Refer to the last picture. How is this solved?

Key might start with n=. Keep looking on router or maybe you wrote it down. It's the WPA-2 Security Key. Otherwise see: https://www.tricksbucket.com/how-to-...in-windows-10/

But I know the network key. It's the same key I've been using on my modern computers for years. Never have trouble using it on Windows 10, 8.1, 7 or any other more modern OS. This only happens with XP and older systems. I had the same problem with an '03 Toshiba I featured on this site. It never got solved.

OK, then try the Network PW: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...twork-password

Here are some other suggestions https://www.techyv.com/questions/how...tected-access/
It won't matter anyways, there is no browser that is supported in XP, and most web sites will not let you on because the browser and XP are not supported.
