i just downloaded autocad 2008 but i can't install it using microsoft windows XP!
Can anyone please help me with this, or give any suggestions i would appreciate it
thank you for responding.
well i downloaded it from brothersoft.com
it says something like AutoCad is not a valid win 32 application which is strange because i had the option to either download it as 64bit or 32 bit.
Knowing (really guessing) my windows XP is 32 bit i chose that option!
what else could have gone wrong?
Are you saving it on your computer and then trying to run it or are you trying to run it off the browser directly? Also what browser are you using? I would suggest redownloading the file using a different browser, make sure you save it to your desktop, then run it after the download has completed. If all this still results in this error message, I would contact brothersoft and have them debug the issue since I assume you paid good money to them to download this software.
i save it first rather than just running it from internet explorer!
i deleted it it is being saved again!
hopefully i won't have to install another browser!
If i do which what you suggest?
and i thank you again for your help!

Switch to Firefox or something. Anything other than IE would be a big step up.
