Hi c0rrup`,

this may seem like a weird question but is it Vista you have installed or XP with a Vista theme?

Ok, please try the following:

- Click Start -> Run -> type:
control
- Click Ok
- This will launch your Control Panel
- Select 'User Accounts' and then choose to 'Change the way users log on or off'
- Check 'Use Welcome Screen' then select 'Apply Options'

That will revert you to the Welcome Screen logon style.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks newbeski....but if c0rrup` follows the advice posted, he will find the problem solved as disabling the Welcome Screen has that effect on ctrl-alt-del :)
