A couple of weeks ago I bought me the setup listed in my signature.
In the beginning I often experienced that when I turned on the power of my system everything seemed to start... except the monitor. And there was no beep from the motherboard. After turning off the power and restarting I would get the "Overclocking failed..." message despite I haven't tried any overclocking at all.
I also noticed that sometimes the red H T hyperthreading marks on the Intel boot logo was there... and sometimes they were not.
It seems from reading a lot of posts here that I was not the only one with this problem. So here is what I did to eliminate the problem *knock on wood* :winking:
In the bios under Advanced -> jumperfree Configuration I set Performance Mode to Standard instead of Auto. Since then my system has booted every time and H T shows up every time.
