Can not use PandaSoft Active Scan

When I try to perform a scan from the Pandasoft link provided here. I keep getting a message that says that the scan can not be performed. It gives a few reasons why this may occur:
--Not allowing the application's ActiveX control to be downloaded.

---Problems with the Internet connection.

---The error could be due to a download error or an installation error due to lack of hard disk space, privileges etc.,...

I'm not having an internet connection problem. I don't know anything about Active X controls. I have plenty of space on my hard drive..... So I don't know why the scan doesn't work.

Please help.
