CoolWWWSearch.Feat2DLL /Searchklick infection?spybot cant remove it!

Hello
I'm getting pop up windows that are sometimes empty, or sometimes have "cassandra" in the title bar. There dont seem to be any other problems now. I have run the following scans:
AVG
Adaware
Spywareblaster
Ewido
A2
Panda online
Kaspersky online
Ccleaner
CWS
Spybot
They are all clean except Spybot who reports it cant get rid of the following:
CoolWWWSearch.Feat2DLL: Library (File, fixing failed)
C:\WINDOWS\n_prisyk.dat

CoolWWWSearch.Feat2DLL: Library (File, fixing failed)
C:\WINDOWS\n_yxmdli.txt

It asks if I want windows to try when it next restarts but it is still unable to remove them. I have tried it in Safe mode too.
I still get pop up windows and think its called "cassandra"

Hi

You really need to make your computer more secure from malware. I would advise you update your Windows and IE Browser security to minimum of SP1 to start and SP2 when clean.Is there any reason why you dont have it ?.You are wide open to infection with raw XP.Once you hit the net again you could get reinfected and that would all be a waste of time after carrying out the cleaning..

Hiya.
I do have SP2! And all the updates!

I now have lots of anti malware software and AVG as my Anti virus.
I an unsure as to why you think I havent got SP2?

Sorry.got you confused with another thread I was working on....yest you do have SP2.

Please start by putting HJT in SAFE MODE. During reboot, tap the F8 key. Select Safe Mode and then run "Hijack This"

To show hidden files instructions (WinXP)
Doubleclick My Computer | Tools | Folder Options | View tab
Select Show Hidden Files and Folders
Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types
Uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
Select Apply to All Folders | Yes | Apply | OK

Open Windows Explorer and delete the following highlighted file/s

C:\WINDOWS\n_prisyk.dat
C:\WINDOWS\n_yxmdli.txt
C:\WINDOWS\iuqsz.txt

While in safe mode run Ewido.

Update to the latest definition files.On the left of the main screen click Update.Then click on Start Update.Let it complete the updates.

Now Click on Scanner and Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will start.

During some scans it may find cases of false positives so you will need to step through the process of cleaning files one-by-one.

If a file is detected you KNOW to be legitimate, select None as the action. Do NOT select 'Perform action on all infections'

If you are unsure of any entry found play safe and select None as the action.
Press the button marked Save Report

Save the report .txt file to your desktop or somewhere you can find it.Post it back with your next HJT log.

I thought that might be the case!! No probs, as long as its not me!!
Anyway, I followed your instructions, and the log from Ewido is now clean so I havent included that. The Hijack log was taken before i did the ewido scan tho, so do you need a fresh one?

Reset hidden/system files and folders

Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View tab.
Deselect the Show hidden files and folders option.
Select the Hide file extensions for known types option.

Thank you! The pop ups seem to have stopped now, but Zonealarm keeps telling me its prevented my pc from acessing ip address 192.168.0.1. When i did a search, I found it is either a perfectly normal router address or a way trojans can exploit. Can you tell me if I should be worried about it please? Very many thanks for your time.

Please start by putting HJT in SAFE MODE. During reboot, tap the F8 key. Select Safe Mode and then run "Hijack This" To show hidden files instructions (WinXP) Doubleclick My Computer \| Tools \| Folder Options \| View tab Select Show Hidden Files and Folders Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types Uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) Select Apply to All Folders \| Yes \| Apply \| OK Open Windows Explorer and delete the following highlighted file/s C:\WINDOWS\n_prisyk.dat C:\WINDOWS\n_yxmdli.txt C:\WINDOWS\iuqsz.txt ============================ While in safe mode run Ewido. Update to the latest definition files.On the left of the main screen click Update.Then click on Start Update.Let it complete the updates. Now Click on Scanner and Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will start. During some scans it may find cases of false positives so you will need to step through the process of cleaning files one-by-one. If a file is detected you KNOW to be legitimate, select None as the action. The pop ups seem to have stopped now, but Zonealarm keeps telling me its prevented my pc from acessing ip address 192.168.0.1. When i did a search, I found it is either a perfectly normal router address or a way trojans can exploit. Can you tell me if I should be worried about it please? Very many thanks for your time.
