However, the notebook continue to upload for no particular reason and this slowdown access to programs I want to access. It takes some time for accessed program to be fully run. It also slow down works.
I also scan with antivirus and antispyware but everything is OK.

Confused

Hello Horse,

Thanks for the advice. I followed your instructions accordingly and the results of all scan were cleared without any infection. Except I was not able to scan with panda due to inaccessiblility. Tried many many times. The PenPower is a software for tablet.
However the background program continue to run from the background which slows down any program I try to access. What do you think could be the problem.
I attached below the latest hijacklog.

Did Ewido find anything and remove them?

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

Make sure to close any open browsers. Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:

Spyware Doctor - it’s rogueware (or known to be rogueware in the past) and we highly recommend that you uninstall it. Rogue/Suspect means that these products are of unknown, questionable, or dubious value as anti-spyware protection.

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any):

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RealTray] C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer\RealPlay.exe SYSTEMBOOTHIDEPLAYER
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NeroCheck] C:\WINDOWS\System32\\NeroCheck.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LVCOMS] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\QCDriver\LVCOMS.EXE
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSMSGS] "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background

Restart. Any better/faster now?

Did you install any software right before this issue appeared? Your logs are clean...and since the scanners are turning up clean...it's likely an issue with one of your programs. Any error messages?

Hi Jeff,

I believe it is the Roxio GoBack program that is running and causing the slowdowns. This is normal behavior for that program as it is designed to monitor changes and make backups of your system.

This really is not a necessary program as it essentially provides the same sort of backup as the XP System Restore.

Hello Reid,

Thanks for your advice. I removed the Roxio GoBack program and now there are no more background program running. Thanks very much.

However, new problem came out. When I access the Microsoft Outlook, the "send and receive in progress" box keep popping up automatically whenever I am
connected to internet. It happened such that after completed the function, the box restarted itself again. This happened without me actually clicking the "send and receive".
Please help.

Hi Jeff,

It's possible that there is some type of setting in Microsoft Outlook that can be adjusted. I suggest posting this particular question/problem in the Windows XP Forum here at TSF and let the experts there help you.

Please be sure to let them know you've been declared 'clean' in the HijackThis section.
