Very impressive!
![]() Just a few cleanup items and you are on your way, dont think they should have anything to do with your opera closing though... Start HijackThis Fix Open Hijack This and click on Scan. Check the following entries (make sure you do not miss any) R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k Please remember to close all other windows, including browsers then click Fix checked. and now.....*crowd cheers*... Your Freeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However... For good measure I suggest visiting Panda ActiveScan and running a scan (you may need to disable Norton) When the Scan is done, you will be given the option to save the scan log, SAVE THAT LOG, and post it here in a reply so we can check to make sure there nothing hidden... Have a great Day! Skate_Punk_21 |

OK, thats no good,
lets try an alternate approach... Please empty any Quarantine folder in your antivirus/antispyware programs and purge all recovery items in the Spybot program (if you use it) before running this tool. Download the Mwav Virus Checker (Use Link 3) 1. Reboot into Safe Mode. - on reboot count to ~ 2 or 3 press F8 till a menu appears and Select Safe Mode 2. Double click the Mwav.exe file. This is a stand alone tool and NOT just a virus checker......so it won't install anything. 3. Put a check next to the below items before scanning:
5. In the Virus Log Information Pane...... Left click and highlight all the information in the Lower pane --- Use &CTRL C &on your keyboard to copy everything found in the lower pane and save it to a notepad file *Note* If prompted that a virus was found and you need to purchase the product to remove the malware, just close out the prompt and let it continue scanning. We are not going to use this to remove anything...but to ID the bad files. Once you copy that to a Notepad file...highlight the text and copy it here in a new post. Reboot to Safe Mode
Enable the viewing of Hidden files
Locate and delete the following file(s), if present:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Reboot back to Normal Mode Download Trend Micro™ Anti-Spyware for the Web Utility (by clicking the "Scan and Clean your PC" button).
I would also like a fresh copy of HJT log along with the log created by the TrendMicro tool
