search miracle

I have cwshredder, spybot, adaware, and hijack this. Spybot results are as follows:

CoolWWWSearch.BadZoneMap: Settings (Registry change, nothing done)
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3142338559-1960234554-4035921304-1007\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\searchmiracle.com\*!=W=4

Spybot will not delete this, even after restart. CW Shredder does not detect this nor does adaware.

Can anyone help me delete this registry item?

I can post hijackthis log if necessary.

Your log appears clean. Let's just get rid of the registry entry.

Go to Start->Run and type in regedit and hit OK. Go to File->Export and save the registry somewhere as a backup. Close the Registry Editor now. Go to Start->Run and type in notepad and hit OK. Then copy and paste the following into Notepad:

Quote:
REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3142338559-1960234554-4035921304-1007\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\searchmiracle.com]
Save the file as "delete.reg". Make sure to save it with the quotes. Double click on it and choose "Yes" to merge it. You may delete the file afterwards.

Tell me how it went.

Looks like you have to do it manually...

Go to start>run - type regedit (this opens the registry editor)

Navigate to & delete this key.

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3142338559-1960234554-4035921304-1007\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\searchmiracle.com

That should do it.
