hmmmm.......im using AVG anti-virus and it has been very successful in destroying the trojans that ive had in the past. uninstall norton symantec and then download AVG from www.majorgeeks.com
then install AVG free edition, update the program, and then run AVG and let it get rid of the problem. post back if AVG gets rid of the problem. good luck |

Greetings, and welcome to TSF!
Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below. Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that 'Display the contents of system folders' is checked. If you have Windows XP, the search feature is a little different. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that 'Search system folders', 'Search hidden files and folders', and 'Search subfolders' are checked. For the options that you checked/enabled earlier, you may uncheck them after your log is clean. If we ask you to fix a program that you use or want to keep, please post back saying that (we don't know every program that exists, so we may tell you to delete a program that we think is bad to keep). =============== The version of Internet Explorer your currently using might be out of date, since there's no indication of a version in the header. Be sure to check for, and upgrad to the newest version as soon as possible, it necessary. =============== Go to Add/Remove programs and remove(uninstall) the following, if present: 180 Solutions Internet Optimizer MyWebSearch The above could appear anywhere within the entry. Be careful not to remove any personal or system software. =============== Run HiJackThis then: 1. Click "Config..." 2. Click "Misc Tools" 3. Click "Open Process manager" - Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following: C:\Program Files\Nxwze\Oggx.exe Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain. =============== Now, let's open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following: regsvr32 /u pqohq.dll regsvr32 /u ysb.dll It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save on the typing. =============== Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present: R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchURL = about:blank R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchURL = about:blank R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = about:blank R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = about:blank R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing O2 - BHO: AcroIEHlprObj Class - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\New Programs\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll (file missing) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A5366673-E8CA-11D3-9CD9-0090271D075B} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A995A064-4C8A-3D7D-FAF3-6D134BFD3E90} - C:\WINNT\system32\pqohq.dll O2 - BHO: AcroIEToolbarHelper Class - {AE7CD045-E861-484f-8273-0445EE161910} - C:\New Programs\Acrobat\AcroIEFavClient.dll (file missing) O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file) O3 - Toolbar: AIM Search - {40D41A8B-D79B-43d7-99A7-9EE0F344C385} - (no file) O3 - Toolbar: Adobe PDF - {47833539-D0C5-4125-9FA8-0819E2EAAC93} - C:\New Programs\Acrobat\AcroIEFavClient.dll (file missing) O3 - Toolbar: YourSiteBar - {86227D9C-0EFE-4f8a-AA55-30386A3F5686} - C:\PROGRA~1\YOURSI~1\ysb.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [sais] c:\program files\180solutions\sais.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Ntinxz] C:\Program Files\Nxwze\Oggx.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mAHvcGRPu] C:\WINNT\vuehljgs.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Internet Optimizer] "C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer\optimize.exe" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Bakra] C:\WINNT\system32\IEHost.exe O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - http://bar.mywebsearch.com/menusearch.html?p=ZRxdm186 O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {120E090D-9136-4b78-8258-F0B44B4BD2AC} - C:\WINNT\system32\ms.exe (file missing) O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: MaxSpeed - {120E090D-9136-4b78-8258-F0B44B4BD2AC} - C:\WINNT\system32\ms.exe (file missing) O9 - Extra button: Ebates - {6685509E-B47B-4f47-8E16-9A5F3A62F683} - file://C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker\Sy350\Tp350\scri350a.ht m (file missing) (HKCU) O9 - Extra button: WeatherBug - {AF6CABAB-61F9-4f12-A198-B7D41EF1CB52} - C:\PROGRA~1\AWS\WEATHE~1\Weather.exe (HKCU) O16 - DPF: {0E4796D6-A990-4372-9069-72FBDB4AE868} - http://www.one2one.com/static/class/one2oneSvc.cab O16 - DPF: {42F2C9BA-614F-47C0-B3E3-ECFD34EED658} (Installer Class) - http://www.ysbweb.com/ist/softwares...ysb_regular.cab O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/13d4ae7...ip/RdxIE601.cab O16 - DPF: {75D1F3B2-2A21-11D7-97B9-0010DC2A6243} (SecureLogin.SecureControl) - http://secure2.comned.com/signuptem...iveSecurity.cab O16 - DPF: {A1A961DA-2BA6-4032-859E-01AC35357163} (One2One Viewer) - http://www.one2one.com/static/class/one2one.cab O16 - DPF: {BFC9677B-8006-4336-9D49-2C797AEFCB9E} - http://akamai.downloadv3.com/binari...ESS_1058_XP.cab Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked". =============== Locate and delete the following item(s), if present.
