Need help with HijackThis Log, tracking cookies and Norton status

My computer was infected with over 300 spy and malwares etc. I think I got rid of most of them, but some problems remain. Ad-Aware always detects the same tracking cookies altough I fix them. They are:

Is there a way of getting rid of them permanently? Also, Microsoft Security warned me when I restarted my computer that the status of Norton is unknown. Could it be disabled by some virus or something (although the status is 'enabled' after a while).
I've also run HighjackThis for the first time. The logfile is below - I don't know what all this means. Please help!

The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there. Download CleanUp! http://cleanup.stevengould.org/ (Alternate Link if main link don't work - http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/Cleanup.exe ) and install it. Run CleanUp! and click on CleanUp! button. When it asks you if you want to logoff, click on Yes.

Reboot into Normal Mode run a new HijackThis scan. Save the log file and run KRC HijackThis Analyzer http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/KRC%...20Analyzer.zip in the same folder to get the result.txt log. Just post the contents of the result.txt file in your next reply.

New Log

Thanks for your reply!! I ran the clean-up, but Windows warned me that files which it needs to run properly had been replaced, and asked me to insert the XP CD (wich I don't have here). So far, it seems to work OK. Here is the new HijackThis Log:
And Windows still warns after a reboot that Norton is logged off (although it says 'enabled'). Thanks for your help!

system instability

Hi,

unfortunately the clean-up does seem to have affected my system. When I open a document, it 'blinks' and the search function does not work properly. Is there anything I can do without the XP CD? Do a system restore?

CleanUp would have deleted anything living/running from Temp directories. It would emptied your recylce bin and cleared your internet cache/history/cookies etc... It wouldn't have deleted needed files - unless you had them stored in TEMP folders.

Restore If you wish. But you were complaining of Cookies, cleanup would have cleared them.

cookies

I'm simply useless with computers, so I suppose I moved some Windows stuff to temp folders when I tried to delete spyware ??! Anyway, while the cookies are definitely gone, I have to restore, Windows isn't working properly. Apart from those cookies, did you see anything dangerous in the first HijackThis Log I sent (I will restore it to this point)? Thanks for your help! Dani
