HiJack Log for email problem

I posted a probem in "Other" about the inability to send/rceive email because the body of the email was grey and also that I can no longer access IE (althogh Firefox is my default) Can someone take a look at this log? I don't think anything is wrong as I've run HouseCall, scanned with Norton (I have NIS) run Spybot, AdAware, Trojan Hunter SpySweeper, etc.

Grey Email

Personally, I think IncrediMail has something to do with this.

Nothing wrong with your log. You may fix these:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

Other then that, the log looks ok, Although I'm a little suspicious about IncrediMail

I emailed IncrediMail via Comcast client and they asked me to send them a screen shot of what I was seeing. I did but haven't gotten a response as yet. This was last night. Up until yesterday I've had no problems with them and have used them for about two years. What I can't figure is also, why I keep getting messages when I try to access IE that it has "encountered a problem and needs to close". I also get this same message when trying to run Live Update in Norton Internet Security...anti virus or firewall. I get this message when trying to open other desktop programs as well. This wouldn't be affected by IncrediMail I wouldn't think. They all must have some common thread somewhere.

I wouldn't be too sure...

Incredimail used to be a bad program - then it seemed to 'evolve' and less and less people fixed it on peoples computers. However, since it's release - it's never been stable.

Please empty any Quarantine folder in your antivirus program and purge all recovery items in the Spybot program (if you use it) before running this tool.

Download the Mwav virus checker at http://www.mwti.net/antivirus/mwav.asp (Use Link 3)

1. Save it to a folder.
2. Reboot into Safe Mode.
3. Double click the Mwav.exe file. This is a stand alone tool and NOT just a virus checker......so it won't install anything.
4. Select all local drives, scan all files, and press SCAN. When it is completed, anything found will be displayed in the lower pane.
5. In the Virus Log Information Pane......
Left click and highlight all the information in the Lower pane --- Use &CTRL C &on your keyboard to copy everything found in the lower pane and save it to a notepad file
*Note* If prompted that a virus was found and you need to purchase the product to remove the malware, just close out the prompt and let it continue scanning. We are not going to use this to remove anything...but to ID the bad files.

Once you copy that to a Notepad file...highlight the text and copy it here.

Perhaps this is a concern for the Windows Forum...

Your computer is virus free.. These problems must be Windows.
