Probably multiple issues - VX2, about:blank, more ?

Hi,

I guess I got multiple issues, tried using the regular stuff, but it doesn't clear the way.

Symptoms:
-----------

- home page - about:blank
- search page - something from the hard drive
- of course I get pop ups

On top of that, I can't use the windows explorer to open/explore my hard drive, programs and even getting to the control panel ... it seems to hang for some time, then I get a message "DrWatson" is hang - I need to open the task manager and kill the DrWatson process to recover.

What else -
- I ran AdAware, and I always get a VX2 process (changes all the time)
however the Lavasoft VX2 Add-on doesn't identify a VX2 issue
- Ran about:bluster - after a reboot I still get about:blank
- Ran CWShredder - nothing found
- Ran Anti-Virus (my installed Norton - up to date def file) - Nothing
- Tried to run the online Trendmicro scan - IE crashes
- I'm attaching the hijackthis log (after running it through the analytzer)
- It seems ntbp.exe is behaving bad and I'm not sure what sysri32 is

Here is the current log.

The RPC Helper was actually stopped (although not disabled), and didn't show up in hijackthis.

My System

Your log is clean. If you disabled System Restore, make sure to enable it now.

To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Tutorial http://www.greyknight17.com/spyware.htm#prevent and use the tools provided.

Are there any problems now? If not, you should be set to go.
