LoadingWebsite.com driving me insane!

Operating System Version: Windows XP
Problem Application Name & Version: Loadingwebsite.com Version Unknown
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Dell Inspiron 1100
Error Messages: None really, except for the pop up itself.

I can not seem to get rid of certain pop ups. I have run Ad-Aware, SpyBot, and other programs to try and get rid of it but I have come up unsuccessful. Here is my hijack log. I saw another thread about this and I was wondering if I could use the same instructions?

Anyone who can help THANK YOU in advance! I'm going nuts here!!

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad in order to assist you when carrying out the following instructions.

Turn off System Restore by doing the following:

Click Start > Right Click My Computer > Properties. Click the System Restore tab and Check "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives". Click Apply. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this then Click OK.

Go to My Computer >Tools >Folder Options >View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. Also make sure that the System Files and Folders are showing / visible. Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files option.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Go into HijackThis->Config->Misc. Tools->Open process manager. Select the following and click Kill process for each one if they are still listed (they shouldn't be - but double check it):

C:\WINDOWS\system32\atmlib00.exe

Open Hijack This and click on Scan. Check the following entries, if they are still there.(make sure you do not miss any)

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = file://C:\WINDOWS\system32\Searchx.htm
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = about:blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = about:blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = about:blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = about:blank
O1 - Hosts: 69.20.16.183 ieautosearch
O1 - Hosts: 69.20.16.183 auto.search.msn.com
O1 - Hosts: 69.20.16.183 search.netscape.com
O4 - Startup: PowerReg SchedulerV2.exe

Please remember to close all other windows, including browsers then click Fix checked.

Delete the following Files indicated in RED and Folders indicated in BLUE if they still exist.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\atmlib00.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Searchx.htm

Reboot into Normal Mode and run new HijackThis scan. If there were some entries that didn't show up in Safe Mode, you may check and fix those that appear now in normal mode (if you do that, make sure to run a new scan again). Save the log file and run KRC HijackThis Analyzer in the same folder to get the result.txt log. Just post the contents of the result.txt file in the forum.

Yep, you did excellent, most seems to be gone.

You have an outdated version of HijackThis. Click here to get the latest version of HijackThis and run it.

Before you give us a new log here, if we gave you instructions for a fix, please do the fixes first and then post the new log with this updated version.

1. If it gives you an intro screen, just choose Do a system scan and save a logfile.
2. If you don't get the intro screen, just hit Scan and then click on Save log.
3. Get HijackThis Analyzer and save it to the same folder as the hijackthis.log file. Run HijackThis Analyzer and type in y if you agree. The result.txt file will open up in Notepad. Copy the whole result.txt log and post it in the forum. We do not need the original hijackthis.log (unless we ask for it). Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up).
Open Hijack This and click on Scan. Check the following entries, if they are still there.(make sure you do not miss any)

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = \blank.htm

Please remember to close all other windows, including browsers then click Fix checked.

I just thought I'd add that I'm getting the pop ups again. Did I do something wrong? They stopped for awhile but then I got them again.

Thank you so so much!

I'm kinda computer illiterate but I right clicked the link and saved it to my desktop. After that I double clicked it and then it gave me this -

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\Control Panel]
"Asynchronous"=dword:00000000
"DllName"="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\j40s0ed7eh0.dll"
"Impersonate"=dword:00000000
"Logon"="WinLogon"
"Logoff"="WinLogoff"
"Shutdown"="WinShutdown"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\STOPzilla]
"Asyncronous"=dword:00000001
"DllName"="IS3WLHandler.dll"
"Lock"="WLEventLock"
"Logon"="WLEventLogon"
"Logoff"="WLEventLogoff"
"Shutdown"="WLEventShutdown"
"StartScreenSaver"="WLEventStartScreenSaver"
"StartShell"="WLEventStartStartShell"
"Startup"="WLEventStartStartup"
"StopScreenSaver"="WLEventStopScreenSaver"
"Unlock"="WLEventUnlock"

Did I do that right?

Thank you so much!

Download KillBox http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/KillBox.exe. Run KillBox and check the box that says 'End Explorer Shell While Killing File'. Next click on 'Delete on Reboot'. For each of the following files below, check the box that says 'Unregister .dll Before Deleting' if it's not grayed out. Copy and paste each of the following into KillBox (hitting the X button for each file - choose NO when it asks if you want to reboot):

C:\WINDOWS\system32\j40s0ed7eh0.dll

Restart into normal mode.

Do a search for j40s0ed7eh0.dll and make sure that it no longer exists, if it does delete it.

Run a new scan in HijackThis and post up the log here.
And run Notify.bat again and post a new log up.

Please don't restart the computer after posting the logs unless we ask you to do so in our instructions.

Download L2MFix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts. Then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing Enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening. After a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 or any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Ahh.. I got the log but then my niece came over and pressed a few buttons.. She ended up pressing 5..the 'Fix Autoexec.nt...' Did I damage my computer badly? Is there a way I can fix that?

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!

Are you getting any Autoexec.nt error messages?

Dee:

Please download Hoster http://members.aol.com/toadbee/hoster.zip and unzip the program. Run the hoster program to restore your hosts file.

The rest of the log looks clean. Any more issues? Don't forget to turn system restore back on. Please read through the spyware prevention section on how to protect yourself from spyware/adware Here and use the recommend programs and methods to protect yourself!
