Hi people:

I have the problem of the virus shdocpe.dll/. I was looking at this web http://www.greyknight17.com/spyware.htm, I have managed to discharge the Hijackthis (v.199.1) and the Analyzer. I continue the instructions but when I give to "scan and save log" the the notepad keeps it me but said notebook is empties. That I am doing badly? The truth is that I have problems with the language (I am Spanish) is a quite complex level. I expect that me can to help to weigh of all, THANKS.

No problem with the language. We understand what you are saying here. Can you give us the original hijackthis.log file? That one shouldn't be empty.

I clic in Hijackthis "Do a system and save a logfile" When it finish said Notepad: "Not find C:\HJT\HIjackThis file. Want create this?" I clic yes, but the notepad are empty. 0 kb

I cant copy and paste the results

That's not it. Just follow the directions here (you don't need to download it again if you have it already):

Please download HijackThis http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/HijackThis.exe - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Double click on the program to run it.

1. If it gives you an intro screen, just choose 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'.
2. If you don't get the intro screen, just hit Scan and then click on Save log.
3. Get HijackThis Analyzer http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/KRC%...20Analyzer.zip and save it to the same folder as the hijackthis.log file. Run HijackThis Analyzer and type in 'y' if you agree. The 'result.txt' file will open up in Notepad. Copy the whole result.txt log and post it in the forum. You don't need to post the original hijackthis.log (unless we ask for it). Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless.

Hi;

Is it advisable to do a restoration of the system before the problem was arising?
shdopce.dll was created 22 February. But the problems started 17 or 18 of March.

Do you want to restore back to a previous restore point? When was the restore point created? You may try restoring it if the restore point was created before having this problem and see if that will fix it up.

For the log file, ignore the analyzer program. Let's see what the original hijackthis.log file looks like.

Thanks greyknight17, i congratulations eliminate shdocpe.dll, i restorated the system. When my computer restard said: "error in restorate, incomplete" , when i open Internet Explorer, Window of Norton said "shdocpe.dll has been detected and eliminated". End of the problem i think. When my computer restard said: "error in restorate, incomplete" , when i open Internet Explorer, Window of Norton said "shdocpe.dll has been detected and eliminated". End of the problem i think.
