Win32/Virut - Win32/Heru HELP!
AVG picked these up - would not remove
Uninstalled AVG Installed NOD32 No Help Cant sfc /scannow - wont run IE and Firefox wont go to ANY MS websites, or antivirus websites How do i get rid of these?? DDS.SCR saved to desktop but when run only produces jiberish... Yes, Virut is one of the worst infections there is. Be careful about what you back up and restore to the machine, as you've already read. Personally, if any of my machines happened to become infected with this one, I'd wipe it all and not risk saving anything.
