Re: virus? malware? please help...
Hello and Welcome.
We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link I'll give you below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here: NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new topic, as this one shall be closed. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply. Please note that the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply. If a full scan with GMER rootkit scanner will not complete, try running a quick scan as follows: Before scanning, make sure all other running programs are closed and no other actions like a scheduled antivirus scan will occur while the scan is being performed. Do not use your computer for anything else during the scan. Double-click gmer.exe The program will begin to run. If possible rootkit activity is found, you will be asked if you would like to perform a full scan. Click No. GMER will produce a log. Click on the Save button, and save the log file somewhere you can easily find it, such as your desktop. Post the contents of that logfile in this thread. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
