widows error message, access denied, can't run tools

i'm a novice to computers and to this forum. i need help in determing why my spyware programs will not open nor respond when opened. i keep getting "windows can not access the specified device, path, or file. you may not have approiate permission to access the item". Is it possible my firewall (outpost firewall) could be prohibiting thes programs from functioning? I recently cancelled my subcription to cyberdefender then had difficulty removing it from my computer. I now have advaced system care3. and malware antimalwarebytes, but neither are functioning properly. I think obviously my computer is infected, however I can't get any antivirus or software to remove the infection. please help
