HELP ME PLEASe

ok people i need some help.......this morning i got on my computer and the whole desktop was larger...icons, cursors, internet websites, the whole works... and i cant find out how to get in back to normal.....i was on it lst night till 3 in the morning and it wasnt like this...i was d/l music and talkin on aol instant messenger...and i get up and get on it and its like this....can anyone help me....

Just to make sure it's not a simple setting being changed, right click on your desktop and go to properties. I know this is going to be a pain, but move slowly around the top of the properties box there and look for the Settings tab. Click on it and move your mouse down a little to where it says Screen Resolution. Try changing that by moving the slider to the right. Hit Apply and OK.

If you did that already or if that didn't work, then do this:

Please download HijackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Double click on the program to run it.

1. If it gives you an intro screen, just choose 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'.
2. If you don't get the intro screen, just hit Scan and then click on Save log.
3. Get HijackThis Analyzer and save it to the same folder as the hijackthis.log file. Run HijackThis Analyzer and type in y if you agree. The result.txt file will open up in Notepad. Copy the whole result.txt log and post it in the forum. We do not need the original hijackthis.log (unless we ask for it). Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless.
