Re: Virus appearing on Windows LiveOneCare

Seems that is in a backup of your C drive's temp internet files. Should be easy to navigate to and delete manually. You might want to reconfigure StorageSync, if possible, to ignore that folder. Backup of temp internet files seems a waste of space.

It might be prudent to run a new copy of ComboFix with the E drive made active. Post the log when it's completed it's tasks. As usual, please disable your security applications before running ComboFix. Links here:

Re: Virus appearing on Windows LiveOneCare

Hi...Please see attached my Combo Fix scan. I had the external drive hooked up (E:). Did the Combo Fix read it? I can't tell from the log file.

Re: Virus appearing on Windows LiveOneCare

Typically, ComboFix will target autorun worm infections on USB drives. If it was active at the time of the scan, it seems there's nothing there of concern to ComboFix.

If there are no further symptoms, we should be all done here. Uninstall ComboFix once again as previously instructed.
