rem7s log
Hi. Here is my log file. I ran spybot and ad-aware with the costume settings. I scaned at housecall.trendmicro.com and got no viruses. I also have pccillin installed in my computer up-to-date and ran it and nothing but when I'm surfing the web I get an alert windows saying I have a virus (TROJ_AGENT.AAB, c:\DOCUME~1\rem7\LOCALS~1\Temp\THI1E23.tmp\Duad.exe). I have deleted temporary internet files too. I still have spyware on the system. I would aprecieate it if you could help me, thank you guys.

Please make sure that Word Wrap is turned off in Notepad next time. The formatting makes it very hard to read your log.
Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below. Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Windows XP's search feature is a little different. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that Search system folders, Search hidden files and folders, and Search subfolders are checked. For the options that you checked/enabled earlier, you may uncheck them after your log is clean. If we ask you to fix a program that you use or want to keep, please post back saying that (we don't know every program that exists, so we may tell you to delete a program that we think is bad to keep). Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Restart your computer. After we are finished with your log file and verified that it's clean, you may turn it back on and create a new restore point. Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Go into HijackThis->Config->Misc. Tools->Open process manager. Select the following and click Kill process for each one if they are still listed (they shouldn't be - but double check it): C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\MsgPlus.exe C:\WINDOWS\sixtypopsix.exe Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist: Messenger Plus WildTangent - This is an online gaming package that is installed by a number of third party applications and even OEMs, ISPs and AIM. The games aspect of this is really rather cool. The being installed without you asking for it isn't cool at all. They collect information about you and your usage. We recommend uninstalling it. Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any): R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://websearch.drsnsrch.com/sidesearch.cgi?id= R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://websearch.drsnsrch.com/sidesearch.cgi?id= R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://websearch.drsnsrch.com/sidesearch.cgi?id= R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://websearch.drsnsrch.com/sidesearch.cgi?id= R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://websearch.drsnsrch.com/sidesearch.cgi?id= R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = http://websearch.drsnsrch.com/sidesearch.cgi?id= R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = websearch.drsnsrch.com/q.cgi?q= O1 - Hosts: 17.250.248.77 idisk0.mac.com idisk1.mac.com idisk2.mac.com idisk3.mac.com idisk4.mac.com idisk5.mac.com idisk6.mac.com idisk7.mac.com idisk8.mac.com idisk9.mac.com idisk10.mac.com idisk11.mac.com idisk12.mac.com idisk13.mac.com idisk14.mac.com idisk15.mac.com idisk16.mac.com idisk17.mac.com idisk18.mac.com idisk19.mac.com idisk20.mac.com idisk21.mac.com idisk22.mac.com idisk23.mac.com idisk24.mac.com idisk25.mac.com O2 - BHO: ZServObj Class - {00000000-C1EC-0345-6EC2-4D0300000000} - C:\WINDOWS\ZServ.dll O2 - BHO: Band Class - {01F44A8A-8C97-4325-A378-76E68DC4AB2E} - C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WildTangent CDA] RUNDLL32.exe "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll",cdaEngineMain O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [farmmext] C:\WINDOWS\farmmext.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Win Server Updt] C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [sixtysix] C:\WINDOWS\sixtypopsix.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MessengerPlus3] "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\MsgPlus.exe" /WinStart O15 - Trusted Zone: *.media-motor.net O15 - Trusted Zone: *.popuppers.com O16 - DPF: {E0CE16CB-741C-4B24-8D04-A817856E07F4} (IObjSafety.DemoCtl) - http://cabs.media-motor.net/cabs/diamond.cab O16 - DPF: {EB623776-492A-42CA-9571-3AA39F58530B} - http://www.alwaysupdatednews.com/install/aun_0008.exe Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist: C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\ C:\WINDOWS\sixtypopsix.exe C:\WINDOWS\ZServ.dll C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll C:\Program Files\WildTangent\ C:\WINDOWS\farmmext.exe C:\WINDOWS\farmmext.ini C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe Reboot into Normal Mode and run new HijackThis scan. Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.
Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any): O2 - BHO: DLMaxObj Class - {00000000-59D4-4008-9058-080011001200} - C:\WINDOWS\dlmax.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [juszxnx] c:\windows\system32\juszxnx.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [farmmext] C:\WINDOWS\farmmext.exe Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist: C:\WINDOWS\dlmax.dll c:\windows\system32\juszxnx.exe C:\WINDOWS\farmmext.exe C:\WINDOWS\farmmext.ini Reboot into Normal Mode and run new HijackThis scan. If there were some entries that didn't show up in Safe Mode, you may check and fix those that appear now in normal mode (if you do that, make sure to run a new scan again). Save the log file and run KRC HijackThis Analyzer in the same folder to get the result.txt log. Just post the contents of the result.txt file in the forum.

Your log is clean. If you disabled System Restore, make sure to enable it now.
To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Tutorial (http://www.greyknight17.com/spyware.htm#prevent) and use the tools provided. Are there any problems now? If not, you should be set to go.
