Hi mogo and welcome to TSF!!
First, I would advise you not to use your email on a forum, spammers can get it and send you all kinds of junk. Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below. Download CWShredder and run it. Click on 'I Agree' button if you agree with it. Click on 'Fix' (it will automatically fix anything it finds for you) and OK. If it asks if you want to delete a certain random file, choose No and post that filename here. Let it finish the scan and then hit Next and Exit. Please download Ad-aware SE and install it if you don't have it already. Make sure it's the newest version and check for any updates before running it. Also go here to get the plug-in for fixing VX2 variants. To run this tool, go into Ad-aware->Add-ons and select VX2 Cleaner. Then click Run Tool and OK to start it. If it's clean, it will say Status System Clean. Otherwise, you will have to click on the Clean button to remove the VX2 infection. Also make sure to customize the settings in Ad-aware for better scan results. Run the scan and fix everything that it finds. Download and install Spybot S&D. Run Spybot and click on the 'Search for Updates' button. Install any updates that are available. Next click on the 'Check for Problems' button. Let it run the scan. If it finds something, check all those in RED and hit the Fix Selected Problems button. Exit Spybot. If you keep getting the DSO Exploit entries, even after you updated Windows and fixed them, then download the Spybot DSO Exploit Fix and install it over the current Spybot installation. Please download HijackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Double click on the program to run it. 1. If it gives you an intro screen, just choose 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'. 2. If you don't get the intro screen, just hit Scan and then click on Save log. 3. Get HijackThis Analyzer and save it to the same folder as the hijackthis.log file. Run HijackThis Analyzer and type in y if you agree. The result.txt file will open up in Notepad. Copy the whole result.txt log and post it in the forum. We do not need the original hijackthis.log (unless we ask for it). Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless. Once you do this, either an apprentice will answer you with the help of an experienced analyst, or an analyst will help you himself.

OK,
I am going to analyze your log and have one of the moderators approve it. I will also ask them to change your login and email you with the new one (if they do it). Please be patient with me, I will be back ASAP.

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.
Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Restart your computer. After we are finished with your log file and verified that it's clean, you may turn it back on and create a new restore point. Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Windows XP's search feature is a little different. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that Search system folders, Search hidden files and folders, and Search subfolders are checked. For the options that you checked/enabled earlier, you may uncheck them after your log is clean. If we ask you to fix a program that you use or want to keep, please post back saying that (we don't know every program that exists, so we may tell you to delete a program that we think is bad to keep). You are running Hijack This from a temporary directory. It needs to be in a permanent folder. Please go into Windows Explorer, click on C:\ then click on File > New > Folder and call it HJT , or another name of your choice. The program creates backup files that we may need to use later. If the program is in a Temporary folder, files may be deleted by you or automatically if your system is set to empty temp files. If you have a fast internet connection (broadband), run an online scan at Trend Micro or RAV Antivirus. Please select the autoclean option when using Trend Micro Download AboutBuster and unzip it to a folder on your the Desktop. Do not run it yet. Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Go into HijackThis->Config->Misc. Tools->Open process manager. Select the following and click Kill process for each one if they are still listed (they shouldn't be - but double check it): C:\WINDOWS\System32\kbdpl.exe Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist: Spykiller, Spyhunter - These programs are rogueware and we highly recommend that you uninstall them. Rogue or Suspect means that these products are of unknown, questionable, or dubious value as anti-spyware protection. SpyKiller WinTools Freescan Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any): R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,(Default) = about:blank R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\System32\userinit.exe,C:\WINDO WS\System32\svcpack.exe O2 - BHO: (no name) - SOFTWARE - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [WinTools] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\WToolsA.exe /boot O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [kbdpl] C:\WINDOWS\System32\kbdpl.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spyware Begone] C:\freescan\freescan.exe –FastScan O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SpyKiller] C:\Program Files\SpyKiller\spykiller.exe /startup Delete the following Files indicated in RED and Folders indicated in BLUE if they still exist. C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools C:\Program Files\SpyKiller C:\ freescan C:\WINDOWS\System32\kbdpl.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svcpack.exe Run AboutBuster and follow the prompts to scan (choose Yes/OK for all). It will ask you if you want a second scan, choose Yes. Save the log file and post it here.. Reboot into Normal Mode and run new HijackThis scan. If there were some entries that didn't show up in Safe Mode, you may check and fix those that appear now in normal mode (if you do that, make sure to run a new scan again). Save the log file and run KRC HijackThis Analyzer in the same folder to get the result.txt log. Just post the contents of the result.txt file in the forum.

It looks as if most of it is still there. Go ahead and repeat the process. Make sure you are in safe mode (reboot and tap the F8 key until you get into the startup menu and choose safe mode), some files won't delete in normal mode.
Then: Please download HijackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. This thread is still being monitor by the pros, so we'll get it!!!

Rather perplexing. I am asking a moderator for advice on this one. He or I will be back shortly. Thank you for your patience on this.

The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there. Download CleanUp! (Alternate Link if main link don't work) and install it. Run CleanUp! and click on CleanUp! button. When it asks you if you want to logoff, click on Yes.
If you have a fast internet connection (broadband), run an online virus scan at TrendMicro. Just follow the instructions on the site to run the online scan. Otherwise, make sure your antivirus program has the latest definitions and run a full system scan. Let's use a program to scan for any trojans that may exist. Download TDS-3. Learn how to use it here. Make sure to update it after you installed it. You can get the manual updates here. When you launch the program, it will scan your memory for running processes. This will take less than 30 seconds. Next go to System Testing on the menu and choose Full System Scan. After that's finished, post the log file by selecting everything on the top pane (select from bottom to top). If any alarms are found, it will be listed in the bottom window. Please copy and paste that here also if it applies.

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.
Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Restart your computer. After we are finished with your log file and verified that it's clean, you may turn it back on and create a new restore point. The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there. Download CleanUp! (Alternate Link if main link don't work) and install it. Don't run it yet. Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist: WinTools freescan or Spyware Begone SpyKiller - it was previously known to be rogueware and we highly recommend that you uninstall it. Rogue/Suspect means that these products are of unknown, questionable, or dubious value as anti-spyware protection. Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any): R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://ultralinks.info/ R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\System32\userinit.exe,C:\WINDO WS\System32\svcpack.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTools] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\WToolsA.exe O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [WinTools] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\WToolsA.exe /boot O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SpyKiller] C:\Program Files\SpyKiller\spykiller.exe /startup O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [kbdpl] C:\WINDOWS\System32\kbdpl.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spyware Begone] C:\freescan\freescan.exe -FastScan O19 - User stylesheet: (file missing) Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist: c:\windows\system32\kbdpl.exe c:\windows\system32\cyzwvpzf.exe c:\windows\system32\kbdpl.exe c:\windows\system32\o78kdov0.tmp c:\windows\system32\kbdpl.exe c:\windows\system32\cyzwvpzf.exe c:\windows\system32\kbdpl.exe c:\windows\system32\o78kdov0.tmp C:\WINDOWS\System32\svcpack.exe C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\ C:\Program Files\SpyKiller\ C:\WINDOWS\System32\kbdpl.exe C:\freescan\ Run CleanUp! and click on CleanUp! button. When it asks you if you want to logoff, click on Yes.
