Virus's dialer and downloader

My neighbour has a problem with his PC running XP he installed the new version of AVG and it has picked up 2 Trojans
Downloader.Dyfica.AO and Dialer.11.BD. It cannot heal or remove them to the virus vault. I have spent some time searching the net for a solution to this problem , but I am unable to find much on either of them.

The file name for the downloader virus is nsupdate.dll and its path is as follows

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\U5RCTS7l\NSupd9x[1].cab\nsupdate.dll

The file name for the dialer virus is nethv32.dll and its path is

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\533JD50E\nethv32_EN_XP[1].cab:\nethv32.dll

This is the HJT log

Hi CBPerformance

I dont see any thing with your last log

as far as the virus goes I would delete those files and
tuirn off your systems restore viruses tend to get trapped in there and accidently get reinstalled. so clear out your sytems restore

http://www.pchell.com/virus/systemrestore.shtml

I would also follow the directions below in case anything else is lingering

If you have a fast internet connection (broadband), run an online virus scan at TrendMicro. Just follow the instructions on the site to run the online scan. Otherwise, make sure your antivirus program has the latest definitions and run a full system scan.

Trendmicro has a manual fix but it requires registry editing if your comfortable take a look
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/gray...PYW_NSUPDATE.A

Hope this helps let me know how it goes

Thanks for that Lobos
But unfortinatelly it didn,t go well. I am unable to scan on line as the neighbour does not have internet access at the moment I may need to bring there machine home and hook up to my net access.
I followed the instructions for the manual removal but the first key to be deleted : NSUpdateLite.NSUpdateLiteCtrl is not there so I didn,t go any further.

Ok try this they seem to be stuck in the temp files this will automatilly clean your tmp files for you

The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there. Download CleanUp! (Alternate Link if main link don't work) and install it. Run CleanUp! and click on CleanUp! button. When it asks you if you want to logoff, click on Yes.

Then run avg again see how it goes

Thanks very much LOBOS Cleanup did the trick, Magic little program.
I had run Spaceoddersey through and it cleaned up most of the temp stuff but cleanup got a heap more.
I have run AVG through 3 times now just to be sure and they have both gone.
Once again THANKYOU
