Virus, Malware? Help w/ Hijackthislog..Rundll32 error
I am working on my brothers computer and I am guessing there are some major registry errors. To begin, the computer is pretty slow and acting very sluggish. In addition I cannot access anything in my control panel because an rundll32.exe error message comes up saying
"Windows cannot find 'rundll32.exe'. Make sure you typed the name in correctly, and try again. To search for a file, click the start button, then click search" I have tried scans with differnt anti viruses and malware bytes and all scans came up with nothing. However, the computer is running too slow to not have something bad on it. HijackThis is no longer the preferred initial analysis tool in this forum. We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link given below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
