Google Results Redirected to HP and Laptop Running Very Slow
Hey, this is my first ever post on any forum so im hoping someone can help me out
All searches on google are being redirected to HP results, and my laptop is running really slow, sometimes with the pages on firefox saying they are loading and nothing ever happens with them. I can get the search results i wanted by just clicking back and then what i searched for comes up, but i would really appreciate if someone can walk me through how to get rid of this problem! I've tried running a lot of scans using a range of different free scanners, but none of them have ever found anything. I really need some help with this one, and would really appreciate it if you could sort this out for me aha. From what ive seen, you generally need a Hijack This log to start you off, so here it is, and if you need any other information then just describe what you need and ill post it in, thanks a lot. Re: Google Results Redirected to HP and Laptop Running Very Slow
Hello and welcome to TSF.
HijackThis is no longer the preferred initial analysis tool in this forum. We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link given below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here: NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new topic, as this one shall be closed. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply.
