Viruses galore - request help please

Hi all. I am having a problem with my laptop at the minute. It has only been up and running a few days after being repaired which meant I did a full re-install of windows. Now though I am having a load of viruses, too many to remember. The only one I can remember is trojan horse small.BPB or maybe PBP, which has popped up on several occasions. When I tell AVG to delete it it can't, and when it says it has deleted a virus, some other virus comes up. I haven't discovered any of these via a scan, AVG pops up at random points when it has found something.

Is there anyway that someone on here could help me get rid of these or do I need to do a full re-install again?
