Suspected Virus! HELP
Hi.
I have just reinstalled Vista 32-bit home premium, and unfortunately before I could download my AV software, I believe I was infected. Now no matter what software I download, I'm getting error messages. The other main symptom is that I am getting Blue Screens of Death with the file "afd.sys" as the culprit. I have attached the log files, and DXdiag sp you know my system, in hopes someone can help. I can't even use the Vista "upgrade" disk to flatten the hard disk and start again! Also, I can't run Windows Update. Many thanks for your help. Raging_Vampire |

What you have attached are not the log files that are required in our pre-posting sticky. We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link given below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
