Re: online scanner

Hello -

Disinfection Failed indicates that whatever was found was not "curable", so it was deleted. Looks like it was an item in %temp%

Hopefully you're not scanning with all of those at the same time, as it may cause conflict and irregular results.

For malware removal assistance, if required...

We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link I'll give you below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a

link at the top of each page.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here:

NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help

After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new topic, if you need assistance, as I have as many open topics as I can effectively handle at this time.

If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply.

Please note that the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply.

Re: online scanner

That's a bad idea, for the reasons I already mentioned. And, as already mentioned, if you need further assistance with malware removal, please perform the steps outlined in my previous post, and post those requested logs.

Thanks.

I'll close this topic now. This forum is for malware removal assistance, and we want only the requested logs posted.
