[SOLVED] Internet stops working after 38 min

Almost like clockwork my computer stops being able to respond to the internet after about 38 min.
Network support forum helped me clean up the ISP issue but this computer that I am working from (it's it's 38 of the day) still stops recieving packets after 38 min.
it's like a log file fills up and will not allow the system to recieve anymore.
other computers on the network work fine.

i assume i have nastyness on this machine alone.
any assitance would be great before i burn and purge.
