Thank you for you help again.

I repaired the Acrobat issue (hopefully) and removed the tools used in the cleanup. One last question before you close the thread - any freeware backup tools you can recommend?

I haven't used them myself but they seem decent.

FBackup4.2 free backup software

and

http://www.snapbackup.com/
Snap Backup

try them and see if they work for you.
