Avira is easy.

AVIRA ANTIVIR
Please navigate to the system tray on the bottom right hand corner and look for an open white umbrella on red background (looks to this: )
  • right click it-> untick the option AntiVir Guard enable.
  • You should now see a closed, white umbrella on a red background (looks to this: )
You successfully disabled the AntiVir Guard.

How to delete something > right click each item, and select Delete. OK the message. Or, drag each item onto the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop.

Uninstall Spyware Doctor like you would any application, from Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. (Start ->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs)

Re: Dell imspiron 9300 spyware doctor problem

Hi WIZARD6 -

I'm glad to have helped. I'm sure you've learned a lot during this process, and hope you'll continue to grow in your knowledge of your computer. You did very well, and asked questions when you weren't sure.

Indeed, that was a lot of replies, but now we'll put this one to bed.

Surf Safely, and Think Prevention!

Since this issue is resolved, this topic will be archived.
