Virus Help
Recently whenever I try to open Limewire it crashes for a few minutes, then it doesn't open. It says that I do not have it excepted on my firewall, which I do. Also whenever I open IE it loops from a microsoft.com redirection page to msn.com, my home page is set to google.co.uk.
Is there any chance that I could have a virus or some sort, if so, is there any anti-virus I could use to find it. I currently have AVG anti-virus. I recently installed and uninstalled Avira Antivir because I was having problems with that. I'm currently running on Windows XP SP3. Thanks for any help I could get.

Re: Virus Help
Hello and welcome to TSF.
LimeWire is a p2p file sharing program which can make you vulnerable to data and identity theft. Please read this sticky: Perils of P2P File Sharing I would strongly urge you to remove it via Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel as suggested in our NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help page.
