NTOSKRNL-HOOK Please help
Hello All, I would first like to say I hope I am posting this in the right place. I am having a lot of little trouble with the computer and therefore I couldn't even tell you how long it has been here. I am sure the above mentioned virus is here because McAfee has found it a few times...
I am not illierate when it comes to computers, I can hold my mind most of the time. I first noticed it tonight. I tried to install software for my Zune 120GB. It was missing an update from Windows. Everytime I tried to load windows update it takes me to Google. I obviously still have use of my internet, but have lost McAfee and any website I attempt that would help this problem (i.e. Windows update) it redirects me to a junk site of some sort. I have also attempted to install Spybot Search & Destroy, and Malware bytes' I couldn't get either to even as much as open. I have been reading previous threads all night trying to help myself, I know that is why they are there... or at least while they stay around for a little while, but I have had not really any luck. I found a thread that said save as and run a program called DDS.scr I did that and I will attach the reports. Thank you in advance for all your help. Tom |

Re: NTOSKRNL-HOOK Please help
I would also like to add that I am sure it is this virus. I started it up tonight and still no real change. But I am running McAfee initially when I thought it was something that was that easy to get rid of and it continued to pop-up...
Any ideas, PLEASE HELP!! |
