SpywareRemover2009 driving me nuts please help!!!
Hello, I have been infected with "spywareremover2009" and it is proving to be quite the pain my my a$$. If someone could please help me out. The infection itself pops up like an internet browser in the background and I get a grey box that pops up and warns me that my computer has been infected, that I need to purchase Spyware remover 2009 inorder to clean my computer. No matter what I press on that box (yes, no, or just close it with the X) the internet window starts performing a fake scan saying I have 103 trojans and all kinds of junk I know I don't have. On top of Super Anti Spyware and Malwarebytes anti-maleware, I have also tried spyware hunter, spyware doctor, AbsoluteShield internet eraser, and AD-aware Aniversary Edition. I have also googled "spywareremover2009" and found manual removal instructions. The only probablem is that none of the files, dll's, reg items are there for me to delete!!!!??? So as of right now, I'm still having the issue!
Here is my HJT - - if you need anything else from me just let me know. I'll be on here all day untill I get this fixed! Re: SpywareRemover2009 driving me nuts please help!!!
Hello and Welcome to TSF.
We no longer use HijackThis as our initial analysis tool, and we only want certain logs posted unless otherwise requested. We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link I'll give you below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here: NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new topic, as this one shall be closed. Link back to this topic. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply. Please note that the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply.
