FPS drops in games caused by virus/spyware

When I first bought my laptop, I did not have a problem with fps drops while playing games on it. I always had 100fps constantly, but some months after purchasing the laptop, I started to experience major fps fluxuation and drops during areas of high action in games. I believe this is being caused by virus/spyware on my computer, but even after installing anti-virus/malware protection, the problem still exists. Please help.

Re: FPS drops in games caused by virus/spyware

Hi -

I think this is your main issue:

AV: VirusScan Enterprise + AntiSpyware Enterprise *On-access scanning enabled* (Outdated)
AV: Kaspersky Anti-Virus *On-access scanning enabled* (Updated)

Two AV can cause a machine to run more slowly than it should and cause conflicts. Pick one, uninstall the other.

I don't see anything to suggest malware is the cause of the machine's issues.
