When i click to open any program it takes like 30seconds to open it. It use to be really fast. I have hardly any programs installed. Idk why it slowed down.

You don't exactly have the fastest machine around. This is an 1500Hz Athlon running Windows XP1 on 255MB memory. It's is generally recommended to have at least 512MB preferably 1GB of ram for XP.

Well, if it were me, I would choose to increase my RAM. It's relatively cheap these days. You should look around your town's local boards for 2nd hand stock.
