malware redirecting my google searches
Hi! I somehow got some malware that's redirecting all my google searches (both in firefox and IE) to advertising sites. I think the source of it was probably a fake flash update that I was tricked into installing a couple days ago. :(
The search results page looks almost normal, with the titles and descriptions of hits, but the links are all to places like megasearch1.com and bottomdollar.com. Any information on how to fix this would be really appreciated! Thanks so much. HijackThis log pasted below (sorry that it's so long...lots of random stuff on this computer...) Re: malware redirecting my google searches
We dont really want to see a Hijackthis log. It no longer shows us enough info to map a strategy.
Please follow the instructs from this webpage (sticky): http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...oval-help.html You shall have a proper set of logs for us after that. Someone shall be along shortly |
