Hi,

Big thanks again for all your time and expertise with this.
You're welcome.

Out of interest, is there anything you'd recommend I change regarding the security methods i'm currently using? Any obvious weak areas, programs that could be replaced by better alternatives?
Your Adobe Reader is a little out of date. It's up to version 9 now. You may want to download the latest version.
Adobe® Reader® 9.

Other than that, I haven't noticed any weaknesses. Keep all your software up-to-date. Secunia Software Inspector Scan can help you find out which programs need to be updated.

The Think Prevention link I have already given above has all the helpful information on the internet safety and security. You can also check this page PC Safety and Security--What Do I Need?.

Have a happy new year.
